Second Vande Bharat Express to run between Delhi-Katra from October 5
Railways is going to run its second Vande Bharat Express from Delhi to Katra on the auspicious occasion of Navaratri. Honble Home Minister Shri. Amit Shah will flag it off on 3 October 2019 and its commercial run will start from 5 October 2019. It will cut down the travel time between Delhi and Katra to eight hours from the current twelve hours. The train will run on all days of the week except Tuesday.

Ministry of Railways and Department of Science & Technology have joined hands in partnership with IIT Kanpur for taking up a unique project on Industry 4.0 by launching a Pilot Project for implementation at Modern Coach Factory, Raebareli. Full transition to the digital factory using Industry 4.0 across entire value chain from design to production will help enhance productivity hugely by providing insight into production process.

RailTel Corporation of India Ltd a body behind transforming Railway stations into Digital hubs by providing public Wi-Fi at major Railway stations held its 19th Annual General Meeting on 27th September 2019. RailTel has achieved a turnover of Rs.1017 crore and posted a Profit before Tax amounting to Rs.179 crore and a net profit of Rs.110 crore during 2018-19 on standalone basis.
