10 Sewa Service trains will be flagged off on 15th October, 2019. These trains will benefit the commuters in establishing connectivity between the small towns of the country with major cities. Railways deploys advanced technology- Saves Energy, Reduces Pollution
Vijayawada railway division is the latest addition to using Head-on-Generation (HoG) technology in trains which is saving energy on a large scale and reducing pollution. In the HoG system, power will be drawn from the overhead electric supply and the power generator cars which used to make a huge noise and emit fumes will no longer be there. It is also helping provide space for luggage, guard room and more passengers.
