Modi Govt’s big push for completion of stalled housing projects
In a big move, Cabinet meeting chaired by PM Modi gave approval for establishing a 'Special Window' fund to provide priority debt financing for the completion of stalled housing projects which are in the affordable and middle-income housing sector.

Highlighting the transformative changes undertaken in India at Golden Jubilee celebrations of Aditya Birla Group, PM Modi said, “This is the best time to be in India.” India’s jump by 79 places in World Bank’s Ease of Doing Business rankings in last 5 years - from 142 in 2014 to 63 in 2019 reflected the government’s commitment to make business environment better, said the PM.
