| The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) chaired by the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has approved new Railway line between Bahraich and Khalilabad via Bhinga, Shravasti, Balrampur, Utraula, Domariyaganj, Mehdawal, Bansi. The total length of the new Broad Gauge line will be 240.26 kilometers. |

The new age flagship Trainset code-named Train 18 is set to roll out from the production shops of Integral Coach Factory (ICF) this year. The 16 coach semi-high speed Trainset will consist of 16 coaches and is designed for maximum operating speed of 160 kmph. The Train 18 Trainset is getting ready with about 80% Indian origin components in alignment with the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s call for ‘Make in India’. |

| Ministry of Railways is providing the First Aid emergency care & medical facilities at all Railway Stations and in all passenger carrying trains for which Medical Boxes containing wide range of medicines, dressing materials, consumables, oxygen cylinder and delivery kit. In the event of sickness during the journey, the passengers can contact the staff posted on trains or stations for first aid. |

The Bogibeel Bridge is a combined Road & Rail Bridge over the Brahmaputra river in Assam, on which speed reached a phenomenal 110 km/h during a test run. The project, which has been a major engineering challenge for Indian Railways, will connect the North and South banks of the Brahmaputra river and is located in challenging regions of Arunachal Pradesh and Assam. |
