PM Modi becomes first Indian PM to visit Rwanda, India-Rwanda ties at all time high

Deepening cooperation with Rwanda in trade, defence, culture and agriculture, PM Modi and President Kagame had an extensive meeting. President Kagame, in a special gesture, personally received PM Modi. PM Modi too, in a gesture special to Rwanda, gifted 200 cows towards transforming the economic life of a village.

India-Uganda strengthen friendship with PM Modi’s visit

In Uganda, PM Modi held productive talks with President Museveni on a wide range of issues. Addressing the Ugandan Parliament, PM hailed the historical synergy between Indian and African freedom movements. He also paid tributes to Indian peacekeepers who made the ultimate sacrifice in UN Peacekeeping missions.

Preparing for the Fourth Industrial Revolution at BRICS in South Africa

Stressing upon cooperation in skill development, technological innovation and education, PM Modi addressed the BRICS Plenary session in South Africa. On the sidelines of the summit, PM also held bilateral meetings with many international leaders from countries such as South Africa, China, Angola, Argentina and Russia.
