Indian Railways will repaint coaches in new colours; revamp will give customers a delightful experience of travelling in the train
Railways would be repainting about 30,000 conventional coaches manufactured at the Integral Coach Factory in Chennai. The new colour scheme will replace the dark blue colour, which was introduced in 1990s.

In a short span, the Google Play app store has seen more than 250 mobile applications offering a range of railway services. Of these, close to 50 mobile applications have been developed by the Railways and the rest by individuals and private companies.

The Odisha’s first Memu (Mainline Electric Multiple Unit) train rolled out between Brahmapur and Cuttack on 22nd June 2018. The train, which can accelerate and decelerate faster, will replace the Brahmapur-Cuttack-Brahmapur passenger.The new Train has 12 coach rakes with water facilities for the passengers.
