CIL's supply to power sector increases by 17% in Sept' 17, ensuring adequate coal to power India

Railways special drive to curb illegal ticketing

Zonal Railways have launched a special drive to curb malpractices of touting activities, journey by ticketless passengers and unauthorised ticketing agencies. Coordinated effort among Ministries shows the path to tide over temporary crisis of coal shortage & occasional high prices in the Power Exchange

The issue of coal supply to power plants is being addressed in a co-coordinated manner by the three concerned Ministries i.e Ministry of Power, Ministry of Coal and Ministry of Railways. A detailed plan has been agreed which would ensure sufficient supply of coal to power plants. Read more…
